15 Jan Grandma Pen Soeun

Mrs. Pen Soeun, 71 years old, lives on the porch of a villager’s house in Deum Sleng village, near the graveyard village. She has two children, but they live in remote provinces, one at Stung Treng and another at Mondulkiri. They live with their families and do not visit her. She lives with a 6-years-old granddaughter who will be attending our school this year. She had an accident a few months ago and as a result, her arm was broken. As she was unable to work, she had to beg for monies to support herself and her granddaughter. The church supported her with some rice, money, medicine as well as prayers. May God protect and care for this helpless grandma and his granddaughter.
