15 Jan CC School to Reopen In January 2021

Our school has been suspended since April 2020 due to Covid-19. Since then, our school has continued to teach all students remotely. The government announced end Dec 2020 that schools can reopen in January 2021. Education Minister Hang Chuon Naron ordered schools to ensure the safety and security of students, teachers and staff. As such, schools are required to comply with the regulations set by the Ministry of Health aimed at preventing the spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Regulations requiring schools to disinfect classrooms, libraries, bathrooms, cafeterias and across campuses, while chairs must be 2 meters apart and only 15 to 20 students will be allowed in each classroom at any given time. Schools must also provide handwashing facilities with soap or alcohol and have a medical room [thank God that we have CCC Clinic] with first aid-trained staff to conduct medical examinations of students, teachers and school staff.
After much discussion, CCC Principal, Mr. Keo Sinath decided to reopen our school on 11 January 2021, strictly implementing the government’s guidelines.
